LXM Aero GmbH highlights milestone achievements of 2023

LXM Aero GmbH shared a look back at its achievements in 2023 on LinkedIn today, highlighting various successful projects, on aircraft exteriors and interiors.
In its review of milestone markers for the year, LXM Aero GmbH said it supported more than 80 IFE system installations and placed advertising campaigns on around 9,000 tray tables. It also gave more than 100 aircraft a new livery.
In a post on LinkedIn two days earlier, the company also celebrated its strides in sustainability, saying, “Together, we saved an impressive amount of 3530 CO₂ emissions [in 2023], contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment. But that's not all! Our efforts also led to the preservation of 282,366 beech trees.
Part of the company’s contribution towards protecting the environment comes from its application of vinyl livery to aircraft, eliminating the need for ferry flights to paint shop facilities. This means fewer flights for aircraft in a fleet with this style of livery and as a result, a significant carbon footprint reduction.
After applying the vinyl livery to 71 A320s near the end of 2023, the company said, “We've successfully contributed to a carbon footprint reduction by a staggering 2.907,5 tonnes of CO₂.”
According to the running count on its website, LXM Aero has saved 8955.5 tonnes of CO₂ and 716, 436 beech trees since 2019.
LXM Aero GmbH expressed excitement and gratitude for the accomplishments of the year along with the teams and partnerships responsible for the various projects.
“These accomplishments showcase our unwavering dedication and commitment to excellence,” the company said in its post. “Together, we've created stunning flying works of art!”
