EgyptAir has introduced a dedicated support room for passengers with invisible disabilities at Cairo International Airport, marking a step forward in its accessibility strategy and alignment with Egypt Vision 2030 sustainability goals.

Located in Departure Hall, Terminal 3, in front of Gate 4, the facility is designed to support passengers with autism spectrum disorder, learning difficulties and other psychological conditions by providing a calm, low-stimulation environment.

The airline said the initiative is part of its broader commitment to social responsibility and improving the travel experience for all passengers. The space aims to reduce stress and sensory overload, offering a more comfortable pre-flight experience for travelers who may find busy airport environments challenging.

A specialized support team is available to assist passengers using the service, providing guidance from arrival at the airport through to boarding. This end-to-end support is intended to ensure a smoother and more accessible journey through the airport process.

Passengers wishing to use the sensory support room are required to submit their flight details at least 48 hours in advance via email, allowing the team to prepare for their arrival and tailor assistance as needed.

With the launch of this facility, EgyptAir joins a growing number of airlines and airports investing in inclusive travel solutions, highlighting the increasing focus on accessibility and passenger wellbeing across the aviation industry.
