Santan elevates AirAsia's menu with specialty coffee

The Santan 92’ Signature Blend is AirAsia's innovative specialty coffee, sustainably sourced and made using SuperCooling-extraction technology
Santan, AirAsia’s renowned inflight dining brand, is bringing an exclusive coffee experience onboard with the Santan 92’ Signature Blend. Crafted using innovative SuperCooling-extraction technology, this specialty coffee has earned an impressive 92-point rating from the Coffee Review. Sourced sustainably from Guatemala, Brazil, and Indonesia, it offers exceptional taste and supports the airline’s eco-friendly approach.
“We are thrilled to continue to revolutionize the inflight dining experience with the introduction of Santan 92’ Signature Blend, our innovative specialty coffee, and the appetizing plant-based Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak,” Santan General Manager, Catherine Goh said in a July 25 press release. “We serve up nearly 1 million cups of coffee in an average year and sold about 29 million nasi lemak across AirAsia’s 130 destinations, and look forward to serving millions more AirAsia’s guests with the world’s finest coffee beans in the skies, complemented by our champion roaster’s artistry in addition to meeting the rising demand for innovative and sustainable dining choices.”
In addition to the coffee, Santan introduces a plant-based version of Pak Nasser’s Nasi Lemak. This delightful dish features wild purple rice, a flavourful vegetarian curry with plant-based protein, eggplant, French beans, and potatoes. Topped with onion sambal, crunchy peanuts, and coconut strips, it provides a guilt-free, sustainable dining option for environmentally conscious guests.
Both specialty coffee and plant-based Nasi Lemak are available onboard AirAsia and AirAsia X flights. To ensure availability and priority serving, guests are advised to pre-book their meals up to four hours before the scheduled departure time.
