WTCE and AIX 2026 welcome festivities begin at Hamburg Messe
Festivities for AIX and WTCE 2026 kicked off in Hamburg, Germany tonight with the welcome cocktail party
The festivities for World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) and Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) 2026 officially got underway tonight with the annual Welcome Party at Hamburg Messe, following the day-long Passenger Experience Conference (PEC).
The conference brought together airline professionals, suppliers and exhibitors from around the world for an evening of networking and celebration, marking a natural continuation of the day’s thought-provoking discussions. Following the day’s discussions at PEC, which highlighted accessibility, inclusivity, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, experience-led design and the future of sustainable aviation, the evening provided a welcome opportunity to unwind, reconnect and gear up for the busy days ahead on the exhibition floor.
The reception offered live music, local refreshments and a laid-back setting that fostered conversation between both seasoned industry professionals and first-time attendees. It featured a photo op activation celebrating AIX's 25th edition, which Event Director Archana Dharni said reflects an industry that continues to evolve.
“This year's show reflects where aviation interiors stand today, an ecosystem in motion, constantly renewing itself,” she said.
