The Toronto qualifier for the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup crowned its winners at Glen Abbey on August 9.

The tournament started in 2013 and at the time featured 12 events. It has now grown to 100 tournaments in 63 countries, making it the largest corporate amateur event in the world.

Troy Vigushin of Flight Centre Travel Group won the tournament, qualifying him for the Grand Finals in Antalya this November, where competitors will travel on Turkish Airlines' Business Class and stay at the five-star Titanic Golf Deluxe Hotel. The Grand Finals will also provide participants with the opportunity to compete for a place at the Turkish Airlines Open Pro-Am.

Also recognized at the event was Filiz Ozmisir of Zgemi Construction, who nabbed the Ladies Closest to the Pin prize.
