SSP America celebrates three new PHX restaurants

SSP America, a division of SSP Group, has announced the opening of three new restaurants at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). The portfolio introduces three local brands with deep ties to the Valley of the Sun community.

SSP America’s latest openings are part of the gateway’s US$590 million Terminal 3 Modernization Program, which focuses on making it easier for travelers to get through the terminal.

Scott Welding, Vice President of Business Development, said in today’s press release from SSP: “As Phoenix Sky Harbor completes its modernization of the newly named John S. McCain III Terminal 3, SSP America is proud to celebrate the opening of its latest collection of restaurants in the North Concourse.These local favorites will offer passengers a true taste of our region, featuring some of the best local craft beers, Sonoran style Mexican dishes and all-day breakfasts. SSP America is proud to continue our full support of this region’s dynamic culinary community.”

The openings include:

Ajo Al’s (North Concourse) — Ajo Al’s Mexican Café provides a taste of traditional Mexican cuisine with a modern Sonoran style twist and a casual, fun atmosphere since 1986.

PHX Beer Co. (North Concourse) — PHX Beer Co. is a celebration of craft beer and craft food. Bringing a unique, only-in-Phoenix experience to Terminal 3, PHX Beer Co. serves up local craft brews from its local brewery and pairs them with unique dishes.

Scramble (North Concourse) — Award-winning Scramble brings an all day, fast casual dining experience, featuring a menu designed to accommodate a variety of tastes and nutritional needs.
