SSP and Gordon Ramsay team up for food concept at HKG

By Jane Hobson

SSP Hong Kong has announced today a partnership with world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay to bring Gordon Ramsay Plane Food To Go to Hong Kong International Airport (HKG). Located at the East Hall, floor seven of Terminal 1, the food destination offers travelers an on-the-go dining experience.

The all-day menu features some of Ramsay’s signature dishes, including the Short Rib Burger and Californian Fried Chicken Burger. Breakfast classics include the Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich, and the Full English Breakfast with Dingley Dell Cumberland sausages and streaky smoked bacon, grilled Portobello mushrooms, slow-cooked tomato, baby spinach, fried eggs and toast.

Sourcing and showcasing excellent produce, Gordon Ramsay Plane Food To Go integrates British and Asian flavors to offer a number of new dishes, exclusive to HKG. The Grilled Cuttlefish and Pork Patty Bun is an east-meets-west dish and the Lobster Thermidor Mac and Cheese is a mixture of taste and texture.

“As someone who spends a lot of time in airports, I know how important it is to deliver fresh and tasty food super quickly,” Gordon Ramsay said in today’s press release from SSP. “SSP has such an important infrastructure which has allowed this launch to happen and I’m delighted they’re our partners in this exciting new adventure.”
