Qatar Duty Free launches interactive Godiva wall display at HIA

The display includes an innovative application which helps customers select their perfect product via a series of questions

The first Godiva in-store interactive wall by Qatar Duty Free (QDF) has launched at Hamad International Airport (HIA).

The installation includes a built-in concierge application through which customers can determine their perfect choice of product based on their answers to a series of questions.

Thabet Musleh, Qatar Duty Free Vice President Operations, said in a statement: “We are pleased to partner with Godiva to delight chocolate lovers passing through our home and hub, Hamad International Airport, with this new interactive display. At QDF, we are committed to offering our passengers new, exclusive and memorable experiences every time they shop with us.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with one of the world’s finest chocolate brands, offering our passengers a sweet escape with a firsthand, personalized experience into the world of chocolate with Godiva for the first time at Qatar Duty Free.”

Matthew Hodges, President Global Sales at Godiva, also commented: “The idea of the interactive wallbay, which is a first for Godiva, was borne of the realization that today’s consumers shop in a different way to their predecessors. They are looking for engagement with the brand, for an interaction which makes them feel valued and appreciated.
