The cups are part of the company’s ongoing sustainable product program

Plane Talking Products has announced the launch of its new FSC certified beverage cups that are 100 percent free of plastic and PLA. The cups are totally recyclable in normal paper streams and do not require any special commercial lining separation.

“With billions of plastic cups going into landfill or incinerated each year, these cups are an ideal 100 percent sustainable replacement,” Martin Piper, Sales & Marketing Director at Plane Talking Products Limited tells PAX International.

The cups are part of the company’s ongoing sustainable product program which recently saw the launch of the plastic-free cutlery packs. The cups are available in a range of sizes and are ideal for both hot and cold drinks. For hot beverages, an FSC sleeve is available, with FSC cardboard or molded Bagasse lids.

The smooth surface is deal for printing where airlines can communicate their “eco message,” Piper says.
