New ANA Hawaii route marked with fresh amenity kit

By PAX International

A waterproof pouch makes each kit perfect for beach use

Since May, passengers in Business Class on All Nippon Airways' (ANA) new Tokyo to Honolulu route have received a special Hawaiian-themed amenity kit. The launch was made possible through partnership with premium American jeans brand Fred Segal and airline amenities supplier WESSCO International.

Each kit comes in a waterproof white or transparent pouch with Fred Segal’s iconic typeface logo and blue and red stripes. On the reverse, the pouches mark ANA’s special new Honolulu route with a “boarding pass” imprint complete with a token flight and gate number, “Tokyo to Honolulu” destination, departure time and passenger name listed as “Fred Segal.”

Inside the pouch passengers will find an ANA-branded Tyvek tote bag with a depiction of the airline’s green sea turtle livery A380. (ANA Group supports the green sea turtle, a Hawaiian symbol of good luck which is in danger of extinction, through a series of initiatives.) The pouch also comes with a Fred Segal romance card, eye mask, earplugs and dental kit.
