Turkish aircraft seat manufacturer TSI Seats has delivered 5 shipsets to AnadoluJet, Turkish Airlines’ trademark, which began operations in 2008 with an aim to provide affordable flight services for everyone. Under the agreement, Elesa S model Economy Class seats produced by TSI Seats will fly on 17 of AnadoluJet's 737-800 aircraft that it has added to its fleet.

TSI made it a priority to focus on reducing fuel consumption by minimizing weight in aircraft interiors. The Elesa S, with its lightweight design, offers less fuel consumption to the airlines and provides passenger comfort. The remaining 12 deliveries of the retrofit project are scheduled to be completed by 2021 second quarter.

With the agreement signed between TSI Seats and Airbus in November 2019, Economy Class seat models Epianka and Skysofa are placed in the future products section of the catalogue for the A350 XWB, A330 and A320 aircraft models starting from January 2020. In 2020, TSI Seats has delivered aircraft seats for 23 shipsets mainly for A321 and 787 projects.

The goal for TSI Seats in 2021 is to "provide innovative and effective solutions for the needs of the market for new seat platforms, continues its design, engineering, production and R&D activities successfully with its ever-developing staff," reads the April press release.
