Magnetic MRO gains updated CAMO approval

By Rachel Debling

Magnetic MRO has gained EASA’s approval to offer continuing airworthiness management (CAMO) services on wide-body A330s and 777s, as well as Embraer 145 aircraft, according to a press release from the company.

The recently updated CAMO approval certificate comes just weeks after the company finalized the acquisition of Direct Maintenance, a Dutch company that specializes in line maintenance for wide-body aircraft.

Andrei Pavlov, Magnetic MRO’s Continuing Airworthiness Manager, commented in a statement: “The expansion of the CAMO capability that adds new wide-body aircraft to our portfolio complements the company’s recent business acquisition. This strategic alignment certainly creates a good base of synergy for Magnetic MRO’s future business achievements in the wide-body market."

According to Pavlov, the approval was extended to sustain the company’s relationship with the development and growth of existing customers, and create a possibility for potential future partnerships with new customers.
