Bottega shifts Canadian distribution strategy after 35 years
Italian wine and spirits producer Bottega is restructuring its commercial presence in Canada, marking a new chapter after more than three decades in the market.
In a message to partners, the company confirmed it will transition its national representation from Dandurand to Select Wines. The change will apply across Canada, with the exception of British Columbia, where Stile Brands will continue to oversee distribution under the leadership of Carmen D’Onofrio.
The decision reflects a strategic shift toward partnerships that align more closely with the company’s family-run values and long-term vision.
“This decision reflects our desire to partner with organizations that share our family-run values and place a strong emphasis on product quality, not solely on volume and numbers,” the company said.
The producer has maintained a presence in Canada for 35 years, building recognition for its portfolio of Prosecco, grappas and liqueurs.
