Chef Joe Sasto at the AMI Group Global EXPO event
AMI Group brought extra buzz to Global EXPO with a happy hour featuring celebrity Chef Joe Sasto. At the AMI booth, Sasto treated attendees to an inventive tasting built around his latest creation, Tantos—a first-of-its-kind puffed pasta chip.
Guests sampled three gourmet pairings that turned the chip into a showstopper. Classico Tantos were topped with French onion spread and decadent Tsar Nicolouan Malossal Select Caviar. Pesto Tantos came layered with creamy spinach and artichoke spread, while Marinara Tantos were elevated with a dollop of ricotta and smoky pepperoni jam.
AMI Group paired these offerings with three wines: Marchese Antinori Cuvee Royale Franciacorta; Kellerei Kurtatsch Kofl Sauvignon; and Castiglion del Bosco Brunello di Montalcino.
