Bottega's new Prosecco comes in an exclusive platinum-coloured metallized bottle with a customized label and capsule featuring a reproduction of the crown in the British flag’s colours

Bottega is releasing a limited edition Prosecco dedicated to the coronation of King Charles III. The historical event, set to take place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey in London, marks an important milestone in the history of the British royal family.

The Prosecco, called “Bottega Platinum Coronation,” is made from Glera grapes harvested in the province of Treviso and is a Prosecco DOC. It undergoes a double fermentation process using the Martinotti method, resulting in a sparkling wine with fruity notes of apple, white peach, and citrus fruits, as well as floral hints of acacia and wisteria. It is fresh, delicate, and balanced on the palate, making it an excellent choice as an aperitif or an ingredient in cocktails. It is recommended to be served in flutes at a temperature of about 5°C and pairs well with first courses, risottos, fish or meat dishes, vegetables and even pizza.

To commemorate the special event, Bottega has designed an exclusive platinum-coloured, metallized bottle. The crown’s image on the label and capsule is personalized with a depiction that is enhanced by the colours of the British flag.
