Kosher Arabia shows meal range at WTCE
David Johnson and Matt Rickard of Kosher Arabia were making the rounds at the World Travel Catering and Onboard Services Expo with an attractive meal presentation of the Dubai-based company’s products.
“One of the key goals (which we have achieved) is to reduce cost, as well as having a product suited for export,” says Johnson.
Kosher Arabia is a joint venture company with Emirates Flight Catering one of the major shareholders. The company’s food products are certified by the Orthodox Union which worked in partnership with the South African Union of Orthodox Synagogues to obtain kosher certification.
One of the features of the meals is a colorful clean packaging design that fits in half, two-thirds and full atlas trays. The products are double sealed and double wrapped for easy crew handling after heating. Kosher Arabia packages the products with high-quality cutlery and condiments along with clear information about kashrut and the travel prayer.
Packaging is made from sugarcane compostable oven containers and cutlery made from local palm leaf pulps and outers produced by FSC certified suppliers with boards from renewable sources.
