APOT 2025 underway in Haikou City

The event kicked off with a welcome cocktail hosted at the Hilton Hotel
The APOT (Asia Pacific Onboard Travel) Networking Conference 2025 has kicked off, returning to Haikou City again this year.
This year's event marks a significant growth for APOT as the organization proudly join forces with the Shiology Forum (WSF) and the Global Culinary Alliances (GCA). The collaboration has attracted a diverse group of delegates, eager to connect and share insights from across the world.
"We are expecting a host of industry professionals from both China and the surrounding Asian region to participate in our usual relaxed networking and familiarisation sessions," APOT said on its website. "This is a great opportunity to learn about what is happening on this very active region of aviation growth, to promote your services, products and presence to potential new markets and to get to know the people moving this business in Asia and Pacific regions."
On the first evening of the 2025 event, the GCA was officially launched during the WSF welcome cocktail at the Hilton Hotel in Haikou. This event included an inauguration announcement with the appointment of Professor Liu Guangwai as Chairman.
Keerthi Hapugasdeniya, the GCA founder and CEO, highlighted the organization’s mission: to create a platform that amplifies diverse voices and recommendations from culinary professionals around the globe.
Co-Founder Virendra Mittal also addressed attendees with an insightful presentation about GCA at the welcome dinner. His informative session set the stage for dynamic discussions and networking opportunities throughout the conference.
Exploring Hainan
On the third day of the event, APOT members explored the charm of Haikou City, immersing themselves in local culture and engaging in meaningful conversations. The event has fostered an atmosphere of collaboration and creativity, promising fruitful outcomes for all participants.
APOT founder Keerthi Hapugasdeniya (happy) said, "Stay tuned for more updates as the APOT Networking Conference unfolds. We look forward to seeing the lasting impact of the discussions and connections made here in Hainan."
The fourth and final day of the 2025 event will center on the Golden Knife Global Challenge.
