Last week, Plaza Premium Group (PPG) welcomed select media and content creators to an exclusive luncheon at Toronto’s boutique The Anndore House hotel, unveiling the next phase of its global Art of Travel campaign.

The campaign, which launched in April, reimagines travel as a refined craft—akin to the artistry found in fine dining, fashion, and architecture. Inspired by the sensory journey of travel itself, The Art of Travel fuses timeless elegance with modern innovation. Each element of the campaign draws from iconic works of art, chosen to symbolize PPG’s core pillars: Lounge, Meet & Greet, Buggy, Aerotel and Limousine. The initiative reflects the group’s commitment to transforming the airport experience into one of luxury, comfort, and personalized service—accessible to all, not just elite passengers.

The Toronto event opened with a Q&A featuring Mei Mei Song, Chief Transformation Officer at PPG, and Pascal Bélanger, SVP, Americas. The two highlighted a seismic shift in passenger expectations. No longer are premium services viewed as exclusive indulgences for upper-class flyers; instead, there is a growing demand for curated, end-to-end experiences that combine seamless convenience with emotional resonance.

“We are here to make travel better, I truly believe that,” said Song, reinforcing PPG’s mission to shift the airport experience “from painful to pleasurable.” Bélanger added that today’s travelers expect comfort, privacy and tailored hospitality at every step of the journey.

Plaza Premium Group’s comprehensive portfolio is designed to meet that demand. Its network now spans more than 600 locations across 150+ airports in more than 80 countries, serving nearly 24 million passengers annually. The company’s offerings include Plaza Premium Lounges, ALLWAYS Meet & Assist, buggy and porter services, Aerotel airport hotels, in-terminal dining and limousine transfers—all operating under the umbrella of elevated yet accessible service.

As Song told PAX International in a post-lunch interview: “Travel should feel luxurious, and we are here to smooth the journey—whether you are traveling for business, with children or whatever the case may be.”

With The Art of Travel, Plaza Premium Group continues to redefine the airport experience as something not only efficient—but also deeply enjoyable.
