Linstol’s “Amazing Race” showcases how smarter logistics lower total airline costs

The Amazing Race on display at WTCE 2025
In a world where even the most beautifully designed onboard products are only as good as the supply chain that delivers it, Linstol is redefining what it means to go the distance.
At WTCE 2025, Linstol tells PAX International it is inviting attendees to experience the “Amazing Race”—an interactive, visually captivating sculpture that brings its logistics journey to life from factory to plane, and beyond.
"Linstol transformed the complexity of the value chain into a fun, immersive 3D experience that is as engaging as it is easy to understand," the company says.
Inspired by Linstol’s “Atlas of Wonders” WTCE theme, the company collaborated with renowned sculptor Matthew Gaulden of Rolling Ball Sculptures to create a captivating kinetic installation that brings the supply chain to life.
The “Amazing Race” showcases two balls travelling through seven stages of the supply chain. One ball is powered by Linstol’s expertise—smooth, efficient and frictionless. The other, meanwhile, hits all the common roadblocks: port strikes, Red Sea disruptions, stock mismanagement and more.
The “racecourse” follows the real-life value chain:
- Starting Line: Factory
- Stage 1: Origin port
- Stage 2: Transport
- Stage 3: Destination port
- Stage 4: Warehouse
- Stage 5: Overflow warehouse
- Stage 6: Caterer/DC
- Stage 7: Plane
- Finish Line: Sustainable end of life
Leading in logistics
In 2024, Linstol delivered more than 500 million inventory units to more than 58 global airlines across hundreds of delivery locations, and served a total of 170 airlines worldwide.
"From beautiful product design to meticulous account management, our team ensures every item is produced, managed, and delivered at the right time, right price and right quality, so airlines can focus on the passenger experience, not troubleshooting the backend," the company says.
Following its recent acquisition of MNH Sustainable Cabin Services (MNH), Linstol now offers cradle-to-grave logistics—from factory to central warehousing, and through MNH’s expertise in digitalizing downstream service chain logistics to and from the aircraft. Together, the companies optimize inventory, support nimble product launches, extend product lifecycles to reduce spend and waste, and improve client cash flow.
"It is not just about looking good onboard. It is about getting there—with fewer delays, fewer headaches and maximum value. We focus on the 'total cost of ownership' so our clients can focus on creating value for their passengers," Linstol says.
