The Welcome Party served food and drink after a busy day of conferencing

WTCE and AIX 2025 festivities officially got underway tonight with the annual Welcome Party at Hamburg Messe, following the day-long Passenger Experience Conference (PEC). The event brought together airline professionals, suppliers and exhibitors from around the world for an evening of networking and celebration following the thought-provoking sessions of the day.

The reception featured live music, regional refreshments and a relaxed atmosphere that encouraged conversation among longtime industry colleagues and first-time attendees alike. With PEC setting the tone earlier in the day by spotlighting accessibility, inclusivity, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, experience driven design and more, the evening offered a chance to reflect, connect and prepare for the busy days ahead on the show floor.

As Archana Dharni, Event Director of PEC and AIX, told PAX, "It is the perfect way to transition from big ideas to real-world action. You can feel the energy building for the rest of the week."

The Welcome Party has become a staple of the Hamburg events calendar, marking the informal start to three days of exhibits, product launches and meetings that shape the future of the passenger experience. With the exhibition hall for WTCE and AIX opening doors tomorrow, the momentum is officially in full swing.
