AIME Discussion Panel: Next-Gen Cabin Concepts

The Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME) 2025 continues for its second and final day today at the Dubai World Trade Centre, co-located with MRO Middle East. This is the largest event of its kind in the MEASA region, bringing together more than 7,500 attendees and 250 exhibitors.

Day two of the event kicked off with the expo floor opening at 10:00 a.m. and opening remarks from Sarah Malik, Junior Conference Producer, Aviation Week Network in the Main Hall at 10:30 a.m.

Panelists speak on optimizing the process of cabin retrofitting at AIME 2025

The first AIME discussion panel of the day, "How Can Airlines Optimise the Process of Cabin Retrofitting?" was moderated by Dr. Praveen Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer, Aerochamp. Panelists included Turki Bakhryba, Senior Airworthiness Engineer, GACA; Christian Battisti, Director Sales & Marketing, AVIOINTERIORS S.p.A; Mustafa Emre Uzunhuseyinoglu, Aircraft Configuration Manager, Turkish Airlines; and Francois Sautet, Services Marketing, AIRBUS.

Then, Jean Pierre Alfano, Director, AirJet Designs, moderated the "Next-Gen Cabin Concepts" panel, a look at insights into the latest advancements in design, highlighting how sustainability is shaping innovations in aircraft interior design. Panelists included Katsunori Maki, Director, ANA (All Nippon Airways); Francois Sautet, Services Marketing, AIRBUS; Davinder Surah, Aerospace Engineering Specialist, CERT/HCT/KBZAC.

At 3:20 p.m., the final discussion panel of AIME Dubai 2025 took the stage at the GoLive! Theater, featuring  Rodolfo Baldascino, Chief Commercial Officer, ABC International s.r.l. and Riadh Ben Ali Jaidi, IFEC Engineering Duty Manager, Gulf Air, in conversation with Dr. Praveen Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer, Aerochamp, about "The Journey to Accessible Aircraft Interiors." 

The panel examined the strategies airlines can implement to create more inclusive interiors and what innovative products and technologies are available to enhance the experience for passengers.

On the expo floor at AIME 2025

The expo floor officially closed at 4:00 p.m., marking the end of another successful edition of AIME and MRO ME. The expo is set to return to Dubai in 2026.
