Event preview: AIX gears up for return to Hamburg
The Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) will take place in Halls B1 to B7 at the Hamburg Messe in Hamburg, Germany, from April 8 to 10, 2025. The event will be co-located with the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) in Halls A1 and A4, following the Passenger Experience Conference (PEC) on April 7.
The 2025 edition of AIX is set to welcome thousands of exhibitors, attendees and airline buyers, all looking to source and showcase products and solutions for the cabin of the future. Some notable first-time exhibitors include Robert Hofmann GmbH, CesiumAstro, Aeris Evolution, Amerex Corp and Fraunhofer IPK.
Robert Hofmann GmbH is an all-in-one solution supplier that supports customers through the development and production process turning ideas into a market-ready products. With more than 30 years of experience in the aerospace sector, its services include 3D printing, heat treatment and comprehensive quality assurance.
Fraunhofer IPK is a research and development institution in the field of production technology. Offering system solutions, individual technologies and services for digitally integrated production. The company works with customers on product development, planning and control of machines and systems.
A focus on accessibility and sustainability
AIX 2025 will continue the prevalent industry-wide conversation on various sector challenges, including sustainability and accessibility.

AIX 2025 will highlight some of the key developments and initiatives helping to drive a more inclusive air travel experience for all passengers.
New and returning features
Many of the show’s key features and attractions will return for AIX 2025. CabinSpace Live, the show’s dedicated speaker theatre and conference program, will once again offer attendees the opportunity to learn from industry leaders and experts.
The dedicated IFEC Zone, which showcases the latest advances in inflight connectivity and entertainment, will also return. With products and services ranging from AI and machine learning to passenger engagement and ancillary revenue optimisation this section of the show floor will bring together hardware, software, digital tools, and connectivity solutions, to help airlines continually deliver an unbeatable passenger experience.
