PAX Panel to examine accessibility in upcoming discussion sponsored by Safran Passenger Innovations
PAX Panel will host its sixth virtual roundtable this month, this time with a focus on accessibility in the cabin. The panel entitled "Developing an accessible future passenger experience" is sponsored by Safran Passenger Innovations and will be published in the APEX Global EXPO 2024 edition of PAX Tech next month.
PAX Panel: Developing an accessible future passenger experience
The World Health Organization estimates that 1.3 billion people globally experience significant disability, which is around one in six people. This panel discussion will focus on the technology and services that are making the passenger experience more accessible for travellers with physical, mental, emotional and cognitive disabilities and where there is still room to grow in these areas.

Meet the panelists
The panel, moderated by PAX Tech Business Editor, Robynne Trueman, will feature perspectives from IFE suppliers, content service providers, airlines and more.
Tudy Bedou, Chief Technology Officer, Thales InFlyt Experience – Tudy Bedou is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Thales InFlyt Experience, a leading provider of cutting-edge connected inflight entertainment solutions that engage and inspire millions of airline passengers around the globe. Tudy is a seasoned technology leader with more than 25 years of experience in the Aerospace industry.
He serves as CTO since 2019, in this role he oversees technical integrity, product regulatory and certification compliance, and the enterprise technical roadmap. He defines technology strategies for In-Flight Entertainment services and solutions, driving growth and competitive advantage through innovation and technology de-risking. He also leads cybersecurity and data governance.
Tudy joined Thales in 1997, throughout his career he held key leadership positions in Engineering and Technology. He holds a Masters degree from Télécom SudParis.
Louis Poupard, Software Product Manager, Safran – Louis Poupard is the Software Product Manager at Safran Passenger Innovations. He has four years of product ideation and development at Safran and 12 years in the IFEC industry. Poupard is a passionate advocate for the advancement of the inflight experience for all travellers.
Duncan Jackson, President, FlightPath3D – Duncan Jackson is a visionary entrepreneur and product expert who has been creating innovative solutions for the aviation industry, including commercial airlines, airports, and business aviation, for over ten years. With a proven track record in both aviation and sports management, Duncan has been instrumental in building multiple billion-dollar businesses by leveraging his ability to identify and solve complex business problems through cutting-edge technology.
Ainhoa Serrano Buces, Social Impact Manager in Iberia's Sustainability Department – Ainhoa has a degree in Physics and more than 18 years of experience in Iberia, where she has worked in various areas such as project management of technology and digital transformation, web development, software development, innovation in aircraft maintenance, and currently responsible for Social Impact and Accessibility at Iberia.
The diversity of the jobs she has held in the company has allowed her to have a broad knowledge of the airline to be able to value the social impact generated by it.
She currently leads, among other initiatives, the measurement of the Social Impact generated by the airline on the routes where it operates, especially focused on improving the Customer experience for people with disabilities.
Jamie O’Donnell, Lead Aviation Designer, Muirhead – Jamie O'Donnell is an interdisciplinary artist and designer born in Dundee, currently based in Paisley, Scotland. O’Donnell works as the Lead Aviation Designer at Muirhead. His work takes him all over the world where he researches into material and design trends from all different industries. O’Donnell’s life experiences drive his passion for inclusivity and accessibility. His dream is to create an aircraft interior of the future which is accessible for all.
In addition, O’Donnell graduated with a 1st Class Honours Degree in Intermedia Art from Edinburgh College of Art in 2021.
Eric Silverstein, VP of Operations & Technology Solutions, West Entertainment – Industry veteran Eric Silverstein brings high energy leadership skills and operational excellence, doubled down with a clear focus on customer results. Eric manages West’s Operational and Technical departments – as well as working with airlines to develop their social media strategies across multiple platforms. Eric is leading the development of WE – West’s Workflow Engine. Previously, Eric led the U.S. expansion of the Atlas Air group, managing all partnerships and relationships.
Andy Masson, Vice President of Product Management and Strategy, Panasonic Avionics Corporation – Andy Masson serves as Vice President of Product Management and Strategy, guiding the company’s product strategy and ensuring the effective development and execution of market-driven product roadmaps. In addition, he leads a team of product managers and marketing experts focused on improving the competitiveness, market share, growth, and profitability of the Company’s products and services.
Masson holds a bachelor’s degree with honours in Aerospace Engineering and a Master's in Business Administration and Management (MBA) from the University of Hertfordshire. Andy lives in Orange County, California, USA, and is also an avid Formula 1 fan.
Corinne Streichert, Founder and CEO of IFECtiv – Corinne Streichart is a celebrated and renowned award-winning IFEC expert recognized for redefining and innovating customer experiences in the commercial aviation space.
A veteran in the IFEC industry, Streichart has led programs and teams of some of the world’s largest airlines to win industry awards. As a global thought leader and speaker, she has regularly presented at prominent aviation and customer experience industry events throughout her distinguished career. She also produces and hosts the ‘On your flight today’ podcast that talks about IFEC and passenger experience.
