WTCE highlights first-time exhibitors confirmed for 2024
World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo (WTCE) has announced a roster of more than 50 confirmed first-time exhibitors for the 2024 edition. The companies are set to showcase many innovative products and services on the show floor, the February 7 press release said. The show returns to Hamburg on May 28 to 30, 2024. It is expected to host more than 250 exhibitors and more than 2,750 industry professionals from around the world this year.
A preview of first-time exhibitors
One such exhibitor at this year’s WTCE show will be Koppert Cress BV, showcasing its range of products that use all-natural, innovative ingredients. Signature Cocktail Co., with its read-to-serve collection and Serenissima Ristorazione S.P.A., highlighting its semi-finished products using fresh produce without the addition of preservatives or additives, will also be first-time exhibitors.
Wellbeing products will also be on display at this year’s WTCE event, with exhibitors like Soothing Solutions Ltd showcasing Tonstix Travel Pops to alleviate travel sickness and promote calmness using natural ingredients.
In addition to inflight food and beverage services, this year’s WTCE exhibitor list includes companies that are using technology to elevate the onboard experience for passengers. Paxia is used by 50 percent of the world’s leading airlines, WTCE said in its press release, and will showcase its next-generation airline catering platform, Paxia Cloud at the show in Hamburg. The platform features modular applications to optimize inflight catering.
IFCS (In Flight Catering Software) will also be exhibiting at WTCE for the first time in 2024. The company will be showcasing the latest version of its flight provisioning platform, GalleyX. The end-to-end solution, developed based on a decade of industry analysis, is designed to assist passenger airlines and aviation caterers globally.
Sustainability onboard
Many exhibitors at this year’s WTCE show are highlighting sustainable products as the travel industry looks towards a greener future.
First-time exhibitor Ly Company Group will highlight its “Aqualy” water product, packaged sustainability in a carton. Zhejiang Shuangjian, exhibiting its aircraft tableware, will also bring its range of air cups, air lunch boxes and air non-slip trays, crafted using eco-friendly materials.
TUBES’ beverage solution contained in a tube will make an appearance at this year’s event with sustainable, ready-made, single-serve tubes of a range of beverages. These include wines and cocktails. The products are customizable and offer an efficient size and weight to reduce CO2 emissions during flights.
Heading to Hamburg
The WTCE show dates are fast approaching, as the industry prepares to return to Hamburg on May 28 to 30.
“As the onboard sector evolves in line with emerging trends in the technology and food and drink sector, airlines and rail operators are continually on the lookout for the latest onboard solutions and products,” said WTCE Event Director, Polly Magraw. “That’s why at WTCE, we’re committed to providing the industry with the perfect opportunity for visitors to source products from emerging companies and those who are simply new to the onboard industry, who can provide solutions to ongoing challenges in the industry. This year at WTCE is no different, and we’re thrilled to welcome a selection of new exhibitors, who we’re confident will make some noise in the industry.”
WTCE will be co-located with Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), with both shows taking place at the Hamburg Messe. Registration for the World Travel Catering & Onboard Services Expo 2024 is now open.
