WTCE extends voting period for Onboard Icons competition
There is still time to enter WTCE’s Onboard Icons competition to find the industry’s top 10 most influential individuals. WTCE has announced today that voting is extended until April 13, originally scheduled to close March 30.
"Nominations have been flooding in, with organizers receiving submissions from all corners of the onboard hospitality industry over the past month," the WTCE March 29 press release reads. "But if you haven’t yet got your entry in, there is still time to nominate your friends and colleagues."
Nominations for the competition, which will recognize the outstanding contributions made by those in the sector over the last decade, now close two weeks later than expected to give the industry more time. Finalists will be announced at a live awards ceremony at the event from June 14 to 16, 2022.
"Those in the onboard hospitality industry are being encouraged to take part and nominate friends and colleagues who deserve to be recognized for their hard work and incomparable contributions," WTCE tells PAX International. Nominations can be made here.
When entries close, all nominations will be open to a vote in the lead up to the exhibition to find the top 10 most influential people as selected by others in the industry.
"Through the last decade, WTCE has cemented its reputation as the place where ideas, products and solutions come together, and this year there is more focus than ever on helping companies in the onboard services marketplace accelerate their business recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic," event organizers say.
