Nearly one year after launching the PRM Transfer Lift WL780, Dallas-based Letronics returns to Long Beach, California, for APEX Global EXPO 2025.
Exhibiting at Booth #1249 from September 9 to 11, the supplier is showcasing and demoing the WL780 lift, along with its latest, the WL790.
“I think the distinction between the WL780 and the WL790 is the 790, our newest model, is fleet-wide compatible, most importantly, seat of choice,” Gregg Cohen, President of Letronics, tells PAX Tech. “So it is compatible with the longest suites and the herringbone seating configurations, as well as all of the standard main cabin seating configurations.”
The longer WL790 lift weighs just 200 kilograms and offers a fleet-wide compatible option for airlines and airport customers.
The updated handle and trim colors on the lift are designed to make it easier and more efficient for cabin crew to locate
Cohen also highlights updates made to the lift since it was last demoed at the Aircraft Interiors Expo in Hamburg, Germany, in April. The red trim and red and blue handles are upgrades to the design that make it easier and more efficient for cabin crew assisting passengers to locate the handles and begin the transfer process post-flight.
