Porter Airlines launches merch for 20th anniversary
Porter Airlines celebrates its 20th birthday with a new merchandise collection, including the Cabin Crewneck, a limited-edition collaboration with Montreal-based clothing brand Kuwalla Tee
Porter Airlines today launched a collection of merchandise to celebrate it 20th birthday. The collection includes the Cabin Crewneck, a limited-edition collaboration with Montreal-based clothing brand Kuwalla Tee, as well as the Commemorative Porter Baseball Cap, the Embraer E195-E2 Collector's Model Aircraft and the Mr. Porter Plushy.
I only fly Economy
The Cabin Crewneck is available in two versions: The "I only fly Economy" Cabin Crewneck, and Mr. Porter’s Cabin Crewneck. The product retails for CAD$130 (US$92). The "I only fly Economy" is inspired by Porter's reputation for attention to detail that makes Economy flying feel considered, rather than a compromise. The sweater features a relaxed unisex fit in a sky blue color, with an embroidered patch showcasing the airline's Mr. Porter brand mascot.
"‘I only fly economy’ is a statement for passengers who have learned that flying Economy is different on board a Porter flight. It is not about status, but the experience," reads the October 21 press release.
"Porter has spent 20 years flying with style, care and charm, and all three of these characteristics are grounded in the attention to detail passengers know and love us for,” said Kevin Jackson, President at Porter Airlines. “The crewneck represents the feeling of flying in comfort with Porter, which is why we chose to work with Kuwalla Tee as a highly-regarded Canadian brand."
The Porter 20th birthday limited edition collection
The Mr. Porter Plushy raccoon mascot comes in an ultra-soft fabric, measures 9.5 inches x 5 inches and is "built for hugging." It retails for CAD$28.99 (US$21).
The Embraer E195-E2 Collector’s Model Aircraft is a sleek 1:100 scale mini of Porter’s jet. Crafted to showcase every line of the E2, it comes with a display stand and retails at CAD$109.99 (US$78).
The Commemorative Cap is a "travel day must-have" featuring the iconic raccoon brand mascot embroidered on the front and an official holographic collector’s mark. The cap retails for CAD$44.99 (US$32).
The launch follows The Little Things Blind Boxes, which opened Porter’s 20th birthday celebrations in August and sold out in less than three days.
The products are now available for purchase online at porter20.com. According to the press release, expected shipping begins mid-November.
