The tangerine x Buzz Airline Soft Product Collection has won the Red Dot Award: Design Concept 2026 “Best of the Best” distinction and a 2026 Good Design Award in the Concept Design category.
The Premium Economy collection is also shortlisted in Product Design at the Dezeen Awards 2026, with winners to be announced in November.
Combining tangerine’s cabin design expertise with Buzz’s onboard product development, the collection addresses the challenges of resting in a seated position through four complementary comfort products.
“Passengers expect more, but the products that help them sleep have barely changed in decades. We set this brief to challenge that,” said Sam Blank, Director of Innovation and Product Strategy at Buzz.
Geraint Edwards, Chief Growth Officer at tangerine, says the collaboration demonstrates the value of considering the seat and surrounding products together.
“Partnering with Buzz let us design across both, and this recognition shows how much there is to gain when cabin and product designers work as one,” he said.
