FORMIA’s Sustainability Report 2024–2025 highlights progress in sustainable materials usage, supplier accountability and governance, while outlining new targets for the next phase of the company’s sustainability strategy

FORMIA has published its Sustainability Report 2024–2025, detailing progress of key environmental, governance and supply chain objectives while outlining a new set of targets to guide the next phase of the company’s sustainability journey.

The report is FORMIA’s second sustainability publication and covers a two-year period from 2024 to 2025. Building on the framework established in its inaugural 2023 report, the latest edition highlights developments across the airline amenity specialist’s operations and supply chain, while providing an update on progress toward previously established goals.

Among the report’s key achievements, FORMIA increased the use of sustainable materials across its product portfolio from 43 percent in 2024 to 53 percent in 2025, exceeding its interim target of 50 percent.

The company also opened its new headquarters in Hong Kong, designed to both LEED Gold and WELL Gold standards. According to FORMIA, the facility forms part of broader efforts to support employee wellbeing, alongside expanded workplace initiatives that contributed to lower absenteeism.

Supply chain transparency and governance also remained a focus during the reporting period. FORMIA achieved 100 percent SMETA audit coverage among its Tier 1 suppliers and submitted its United Nations Global Compact Communication on Progress, reinforcing accountability and responsible business practices throughout its supplier network.

The report also notes that FORMIA achieved an EcoVadis Bronze rating in 2025 and established a new set of sustainability targets to support continued progress in the years ahead.

Reflecting on the company’s achievements, Roland Grohmann, CEO & Managing Partner of FORMIA, said, “This report captures the progress we have made in integrating sustainability into the way we build and scale our business. We are proud of the advances achieved over the past two years, while remaining focused on the opportunities ahead. By working closely with our partners and continuing to evolve our approach, we are committed to driving positive, lasting change across our value chain.”

Since the conclusion of the reporting period, FORMIA has further advanced its sustainability credentials by achieving an EcoVadis Gold rating in March 2026.

The recognition places the company among the top five percent of organizations assessed globally by EcoVadis. Within the non-specialized wholesale trade sector, FORMIA ranks in the top two percent overall and in the top one percent for Labour & Human Rights performance. The assessment also highlighted strong results across Environment, Sustainable Procurement and Ethics categories.
