The Airsure personal air purification system provides fresh air inflight
As the demand for air travel continues to increase post-pandemic, travellers are searching for ways to stay safe and healthy inflight. In response, Australia-based CosmoAesthetics has launched the AirSure™ personal air purification system.
AirSure is designed to purify and aromatize the air in the passenger’s immediate vicinity through an air suction ventilation system. The device draws air in, filters it and delivers it back for passengers who want an extra fresh breath of air.
Within the system, there are two devices that generate negative ions to purify and neutralize contaminated air particles, explains Dr. Mathew Jafarzadeh, Founder of CosmoAethestics. This protects the user’s respiratory system from ingesting allergens, dust, pollutants and pathogens. Jafarzadeh says that using the personal filtration device can minimize exposure to such particles and limit the risk of respiratory ailments.
The Airsure personal air purification device is small, portable and comfortable
The small device is meant to be an alternative to face masks and can be utilized by passengers who want to avoid wearing a mask inflight while still protecting themselves from pathogen exposure.
Travellers simply place the compact device around their necks for use. The dual HEPA/carbon filters in the AirSure system last for 500 hours of use and are replaceable. Users can also choose what aroma they want to breathe in while using the device: Mint, Rose, Eucalyptus, Lavender or Ocean.
