Delta Air Lines unveils revamped Delta One dining and hospitality experience

Delta Air Lines' reimagined Delta One menu features elevated dining options, including a Wagyu beef burger and premium entrées, presented on the airline's redesigned tableware
Delta Air Lines has unveiled a comprehensive refresh of its Delta One premium cabin experience, introducing new dining options, enhanced hospitality services and upgraded onboard amenities.
The revamped experience will debut this fall on transoceanic Delta One routes departing Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), with a broader rollout across the airline's global network planned for 2027.
Developed using two decades of customer insights, the initiative builds on Delta's ongoing investment in premium travel, focusing on greater personalization, comfort and choice.
"Delta's fully reimagined experience is rooted in solving real customer needs and desires, with intentionality behind every detail," said Ranjan Goswami, Chief Marketing and Product Officer, Delta Air Lines.
Elevating inflight dining
At the centre of the refresh is a redesigned culinary program developed by Delta's in-house team in collaboration with Chef Simon Hulstone and Master Sommelier Andrea Robinson.
The airline also partnered with Chefs Norio Ueno and Jereme Leung to incorporate regionally inspired dishes into its international menus.
New offerings include a Wagyu beef burger with caramelized onions and cheddar cheese, roasted sea bass with tomato tarragon sauce, braised lamb and beef short rib.
Passengers can also select lighter options, including chicken Caesar salad, while the airline's signature dessert cart will feature upgraded sundaes and a new dairy-free sorbet with an optional Champagne Taittinger pairing.
Complementing the refreshed menus is a collection of Delta One tableware featuring the airline's distinctive widget logo.
Developed through research, prototyping and onboard testing, the collection is designed to improve meal presentation while supporting more personalized tableside service.
Delta is also expanding its meal pre-selection options, allowing passengers to choose gluten-free and lighter-fare dishes or adjust their dining schedule to prioritize rest.
The airline has extended its entrée pre-ordering window to 18 hours before departure, providing passengers with six additional hours to make their selections.
"Luxury is about having the experience designed around you — today's premium traveler values choice as much as quality," said Kristen Manion Taylor, Senior Vice President, Brand Experience, Delta Air Lines.
New beverage partnerships
Delta is expanding its premium beverage offerings through new partnerships and a redesigned wine program.
Working with Robinson and SkyMiles customers, the airline evaluated 1,600 wines before selecting 13 from 11 wineries for its October 2026 to September 2027 program.
The selection includes Napa Valley wines such as Silver Oak, alongside an expanded partnership with Champagne Taittinger.
Delta One will also introduce Blanton's single-barrel bourbon on December 1, while DASSAI 45 sake joins flights to and from Tokyo-Haneda beginning November 3.
A new cocktail and mocktail menu will feature alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions of the Hugo Spritz and Paloma, launching on international routes in March 2027 and domestic routes the following month.
Enhancing passenger comfort
Beyond dining, Delta is updating its premium amenities through its partnership with Italian fashion house Missoni.
The new Winter Elsewhere amenity collection, debuting November 3, features a nature-inspired design and products from Grown Alchemist and Marvis.
A new Missoni Mini pillow will also be introduced across transoceanic Delta One routes, complementing existing bedding and comfort products.
Delta is bringing back its partnership with Bombas, offering limited-edition socks on select domestic and international flights departing the United States.
More than 200 Delta flight attendants and team members contributed to the redesigned experience through over 14 months of development, including four testing phases and 36 trial flights.
Their feedback helped shape more than 60 new pieces of tableware and several service enhancements.
"Hospitality has always been Delta's greatest differentiator, and it starts with our people," Manion Taylor said.
The refresh forms part of Delta's broader premium strategy, which includes investments in inflight connectivity, next-generation seatback entertainment and personalized digital services.
