Plaza Premium Group celebrates the opening of the new dual-lounge concept at BKK

Plaza Premium Group has opened Plaza Premium First and Plaza Premium Lounge at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), marking the arrival of its dual-lounge concept in Thailand.

The lounges are located airside on Concourse G and span 790 square meters combined. PPG said the opening establishes a flagship presence at one of Southeast Asia’s primary international gateways.

The inauguration was marked by an official ceremony attended by PPG leadership, Airports of Thailand representatives and key industry stakeholders. BKK recorded 62.9 million passengers in 2025, with international traffic accounting for more than 80 percent of total volume. Airports of Thailand is advancing a major infrastructure expansion to increase annual capacity from 65 million to 80 million by 2030.

Guests are welcomed at Plaza Premium First Bangkok, where local cultural touches support the lounge’s Thai sense of place

Plaza Premium First spans 212 square meters and accommodates more than 50 passengers. The lounge offers a more intimate experience with private lounge bays, shower suites and dedicated concierge assistance.

Dining in Plaza Premium First centres on Primo Dining, an à la carte concept featuring Thai specialties such as Aep Pla, banana-leaf grilled fish, Tom Kha Gai and Northern-style Khao Soi. The Aero Bar serves spirits, wine and original cocktails, including the Tom Yum-inspired Siamese Martini.

Plaza Premium Lounge covers 578 square meters and accommodates up to 98 passengers. The lounge is designed around comfort and convenience, with a live kitchen and buffet serving dishes such as Som Tam, Gai Ping skewers and Luk Chup sweets.

Amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, recharge stations, shower suites, a multi-faith room and family facilities.

Both lounges also feature works by contemporary Thai artists. The art program incorporates local cultural motifs and creative mediums, including custom silk embroidery, glass mosaics, plant-dyed textiles and denim-crafted cityscapes.

“Thailand remains one of Southeast Asia’s primary aviation and tourism gateways, making Suvarnabhumi Airport a natural home for our flagship dual-lounge launch,” said Song Hoi-See, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Plaza Premium Group. “Bringing this concept to Bangkok allows us to offer travellers a distinct sense of place through authentic Thai flavours and art, while setting a new regional standard for choice, flexibility and high-quality hospitality.”

Kittipong Kittikachorn, General Manager of Suvarnabhumi Airport, said the partnership enhances the airport’s role as a premier international gateway.

“We are excited to partner with Plaza Premium Group to introduce PPF and PPL at Suvarnabhumi Airport and to those transiting through Thailand,” said Kittikachorn. “This strategic investment enhances BKK’s status as a premier international gateway by offering world-class facilities tailored to every traveller.”

Both lounges are located airside on the third floor of Concourse G, near Gate G1. Access is available to passengers travelling internationally or connecting through BKK, regardless of airline or class of service.

Passengers can access the lounges without a prior reservation or book in advance through Plaza Premium Lounge. Multi-use Lounge Passes are available starting at US$69.
