American Airlines brings Provisions by Admirals Club lounge concept to JFK

Provisions by Admirals Club space at JFK
American Airlines has introduced its Provisions by Admirals Club lounge concept at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), offering passengers a faster, more flexible way to access premium food, beverages and travel support.
The 3,700-square-foot space is located in Terminal 8, Concourse B, between gates 12 and 14. Designed around speed, flow and convenience, the lounge gives passengers a streamlined alternative to a traditional lounge stay, while complementing the joint premium lounges above gates 12 and 14 and the Admirals Club lounge in Concourse C, according to a June 30 news release.
“JFK is a busy hub where our customers make a lot of connections, and this space allows us to better match the pace of our customers’ journeys,” said Heather Garboden, Chief Customer Officer at American Airlines. “The Provisions by Admirals Club space creates a more flexible lounge experience, one that combines thoughtful design, elevated beverages and quick access to fresh options, all while helping serve more customers, more efficiently.”
The JFK location builds on the initial Provisions by Admirals Club concept launched at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) in August 2025. At JFK, American said the concept has reached its “fullest expression yet,” with a layout designed to support high-volume traffic and passengers with limited time before departure.
The space takes inspiration from New York City, using localized design cues, subtle textures, tonal variation and lighting to create a calm, open environment. Every design choice supports movement through the lounge, whether passengers are stopping for coffee, a meal or quick assistance before a flight.
A dedicated barista bar anchors the lounge, marking a first for American Airlines. The bar offers Lavazza crafted hot and cold coffee beverages prepared to order, giving passengers a more personalized premium beverage experience in a grab-and-go setting. A self-serve beverage station also offers canned and bottled drinks for passengers to take on board.
Food options include prepared hot and cold selections throughout the day. Breakfast, served until 11 a.m. local time, includes pastries, snack mixes, yogurt, fruit and more substantial meals. From 11 a.m. until close, the lounge offers salty snacks, sweet treats and filling meals. Vegetarian options are available at all hours.
The lounge also includes an on-site representative to provide one-on-one support, helping passengers address travel needs quickly without sacrificing convenience.
