All Nippon Airways (ANA) and The Pokémon Company have unveiled the designs for Pokémon Jet Red and Pokémon Jet Green, the first two aircraft in a three-aircraft collaboration marking Pokémon’s 30th anniversary.

The initiative builds on the longstanding relationship between ANA and Pokémon, which began following the release of the original Pokémon Red Version and Pokémon Green Version games in Japan. Through the partnership, ANA aims to create immersive travel experiences that celebrate the globally recognized franchise while enhancing the passenger journey.

Pokémon Jet Red is scheduled to enter service on ANA’s domestic network in Japan at the end of July. The aircraft features Pikachu alongside fire-type Pokémon that players select as their first partner at the start of their adventures.

Pokémon Jet Green will operate on international routes, with its launch date to be announced at a later time. Its exterior design showcases Pikachu alongside grass-type Pokémon that have appeared as starter companions throughout the Pokémon video game series.

Beyond the aircraft liveries, ANA is extending the collaboration into the cabin through a range of exclusive inflight amenities designed to immerse passengers in the Pokémon experience from boarding to arrival.

Passengers will receive commemorative boarding stickers featuring a special anniversary design. Distribution will be limited to one sticker per passenger, subject to availability and operational conditions.

Themed headrest covers featuring Pokémon characters displayed on the aircraft exteriors will be available on domestic Economy Class flights and on international Economy and Premium Economy services. Limited-edition beverage cups featuring Pokémon artwork and the 30th anniversary logo will also be offered in eligible cabins.

On international flights, passengers traveling in Economy, Premium Economy and Business Class will receive custom cocktail napkins featuring collaboration branding and anniversary-themed artwork.

ANA said in the press release that additional details regarding flight schedules, onboard offerings and related events will be announced through the carrier’s website and dedicated project channels. The airline also plans to reveal the design of a third aircraft, Pokémon Jet Blue, at a later date.

The collaboration reflects a growing trend among airlines to leverage globally recognized entertainment brands to create memorable passenger experiences and strengthen customer engagement. By combining distinctive aircraft liveries with themed cabin amenities, ANA is bringing the world of Pokémon into multiple touchpoints of the travel journey.

In partnership with The Pokémon Company, the ANA Group said it remains committed to delivering travel experiences that inspire connection, discovery and the joy of travel for passengers around the world.
