American Airlines is expanding its lounge network with plans for a new Admirals Club at Nashville International Airport (BNA), set to become the largest airline lounge at the airport.

The approximately 17,400-square-foot space will be nearly three times the size of the airline’s current lounge at BNA, offering passengers a more spacious environment to relax, work or recharge before their flight.

Located in the airport’s new Concourse A, the lounge will feature sweeping airfield views and a design inspired by Nashville’s cultural identity and the natural landscapes of Tennessee.

Key features include outdoor terraces overlooking the airfield and an indoor balcony with views of the concourse, creating social spaces that reflect the welcoming atmosphere of Music City.

“The new Admirals Club lounge at BNA reflects American’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the travel experience,” said Rhonda Crawford, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience Design and Strategy at American Airlines, in a statement released on April 20.

The project is part of American’s broader strategy to modernize and expand its Admirals Club footprint, with lounges designed to reflect the character of each city while maintaining consistent hospitality and service standards.

Construction is expected to begin in 2027. American’s existing lounge in Concourse C will remain open during the build to ensure uninterrupted access for passengers.

American says the new lounge will also reflect the airline’s focus on personalized service, supported by its Premium Guest Services team, which provides tailored assistance for travellers from booking through to departure.
