LOT Polish Airlines to launch direct flights from Warsaw to San Francisco
LOT Polish Airlines launches direct route from WAW to SFO
LOT Polish Airlines has been consistently expanding its presence in North America by launching a subsequent direct transatlantic connection. The United States of America remains one of the carrier’s key long-haul markets, with growing potential for both business and leisure travel. Tickets for the new direct flights from Warsaw Chopin Airport (WAW) to San Francisco (SFO) are now available across all LOT sales channels, including lot.com, LOT Contact Centre and at LOT Travel offices.
The first flight on the WAW-SFO route will be inaugurated by LOT Polish Airlines on May 6, 2026. Passengers can enjoy four weekly services, scheduled to operate in the summer of 2026. Flight LO035 to San Francisco will take off on Thursdays and Sundays at 11:15 a.m., while flight LO037 will take off on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 5:40 p.m. Passengers will travel to Warsaw on the same days, but onboard flight LO036 at 3:50 p.m. and LO038 at 10:15 p.m., respectively. This means that passengers will spend approximately 11 hours and 30 minutes on board the comfortable Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft operated by the national carrier.
