JetBlue’s Blue Charms allow passengers to show off a recent trip in style
JetBlue has revealed it will serve updated flavors, fresh entertainment and more to make the holiday season bright for passengers.
One such offering is the airline's JetBlue’s Blue Charms, a new way to show off a recent trip in style. Designed for pop-in style charm shoes and apparel, these charms let travelers turn their travel memories into fashion moments by popping them into the wearable styles. Just like the JetBlue wings pins, these wearable collectables are now available upon request on flights throughout JetBlue’s network. From the Wings Blue Charm, Spotlight Tailfin Blue Charm, or both, these playful keepsakes are designed to remind kids and adults alike of their travel adventures.
Inflight debut of "Boston Blue"
This December, JetBlue will bring episodes of the new CBS series, "Boston Blue," onboard. The "Boston Blue" series is a universe expansion of Blue Bloods, available on seatback entertainment screens. Starring Donnie Wahlberg as Detective Danny Reagan, "Boston Blue" follows Reagan’s move to the Boston PD where he partners with Detective Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green) and joins a new law enforcement family.
JetBlue’s holiday content collections
JetBlue is bringing a Holiday Classics collection to seatback screens this season. Passengers can enjoy festive favorites like "A Christmas Story (1983)," "Elf and Home Alone," alongside animated hits such as "Frozen" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas" to keep every traveler’s spirit bright.
JetBlue’s Made-for-TV Holiday Flix collection offers holiday homecomings, mistletoe matchups and movies that are the hallmark of every holiday season. Featured titles include "A Merry Royal Christmas," "Jingle All the Way to Love" and "The Perfect Christmas Date."
The New Year will ring in with JetBlue’s Fresh Start collection of titles including "Eat Pray Love," "Soul" and "About Time." With Crewmember Picks, passengers can find an onboard favorite from titles specially picked by JetBlue crewmembers such as "The Devil Wears Prada," "Wicked" and "Jurassic Park."
Updated onboard menus
JetBlue’s restaurant partner, Charlie Bird, continues to delight with new menus across the transatlantic Mint experience featuring seasonal ingredients capturing warmth through flavor during the winter months.
The breakfast offerings include:
- Salted Greek yogurt with pumpkin seed granola and currants
- Crêpe with ricotta and hazelnut praline
- Banana bread pudding with crème anglaise
- Spinach Frittata with goat’s cheese, herb salad and parmigiano
Lunch and dinner dishes include:
- Pork shoulder with figs, lardons and rosemary jus
- Mushroom lasagna with béchamel and parmigiano
- Orecchiette with spicy vodka sauce, pecorino and basil
- Shrimp curry and fingerling potatoes
In core, passengers can find seasonal selections on routes to and from Europe including these breakfast dishes:
- Overnight oats with coconut milk, banana, maple, roasted squash and candied pumpkin seeds
- Egg salad croissant with pickled onions, roasted tomatoes and arugula
- Banana Bread with chocolate chips and cinnamon or Carrot Cake with cinnamon, raisins and cream
Lunch and dinner choices include flavorful mains and market sides with choices from:
- Pesto pasta salad with herb chicken, nut-free kale pesto, green beans and roasted tomatoes
- Ginger garlic tofu with chilled soba noodles, cider garlic sauce, pickled daikon and carrots with sesame
- Sheet tray carrots with coriander and marjoram
