Cathay Pacific extends complimentary inflight Wi-Fi to Cathay Gold members
Cathay Pacific passengers can will have complimentary Wi-Fi access in First and Business Class from November 15, along with Cathay Gold members in all cabins
Cathay Pacific has announced that complimentary Wi-Fi will be offered to Cathay Gold members traveling in all cabins, beginning November 15.
With this upcoming rollout, complimentary Wi-Fi will be available to all passengers traveling in First and Business Class, as well as Diamond and Gold members traveling in all cabins. Cathay Pacific also plans to roll out complimentary Wi-Fi to all Cathay members traveling in Premium Economy by the end of this year.
Cathay Director Customer Travel, Erica Peng, said, “At Cathay Pacific, we recognize how important it is for our passengers to stay connected in the air, whether they are traveling for business or leisure. With the extension of our complimentary Wi-Fi service, we are continuing to further refine the travel experience for our valued passengers.”
With the expanded access to complimentary Wi-Fi, more passengers can enjoy seamless connectivity in the air — from checking emails and browsing the internet, to streaming audio, using social media and messaging apps and accessing cloud storage services and other professional applications.
Passengers can connect with one device at a time and can switch between devices at any time during their flight. In addition, complimentary access to all pages on cathaypacific.com and the Cathay Shop is available in all cabins.
Premium Economy class passengers are encouraged to sign up for Cathay membership before their flights to unlock an array of exclusive benefits, including complimentary Wi-Fi service when it rolls out, the October 10 press release said.
