Lufthansa introduces free online chatting on long-haul flights
Passenger enjoying free unlimited messaging inflight
Lufthansa is now offering unlimited free chatting on its intercontinental flights. Passengers can send and receive any number of messages from their smartphone or tablet via familiar apps (including photos) regardless of their travel class during the flight.
With this service, passengers can stay in touch with family and friends via text messages on long flights. The free service is offered with the support of Mastercard. To use it, passengers have to log in to FlyNet with a Miles & More service card number or an email address registered with Lufthansa Group Travel ID. They can also sign up or register during their flight.
