All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced it will introduce its ANA Original Ramen as an international First and Business Class light meal menu option beginning March 1.

ANA will offer its Negi Miso Ramen on flights departing from Japan and its Tonkotsu Style Ramen on flights departing from overseas. These two renewed meal options are made from plant-based foods.

"ANA is dedicated to enhancing our passengers' inflight experience, and our new ANA Original Ramen offerings reinforce our commitment to continue elevating our onboard dining choices," said Tomoji Ishii, Executive Vice President, Customer Experience Management and Planning of ANA. "These options offer a taste of authentic Japanese cuisine while accommodating various dietary needs of our customers."

Departing from Japan, passengers can try the ANA Original Negi Miso Ramen which features a combination of Hokkaido miso and vegetable broth, accented with garlic and ginger, creating a rich flavor. Chewy, medium-thick noodles compliment the broth, and a trio of green onions adds a fresh and vibrant finish.

Passengers departing from overseas can try the ANA Original Tonkotsu Style Ramen (pork bone marrow) which features a creamy, rich broth, crafted with a sesame paste base and medley of vegetables. Extra-thin noodles combined with traditional Fukuoka toppings of kikurage mushrooms and red ginger blend with the broth. The flavor can also be modified by using ANA's Ma-Yu style flavoured oil.

The number of ANA Original Ramen offered onboard each flight is limited, the press release said.
