Porter Airlines releases sustainability report

Porter’s first comprehensive Sustainability Report has been released. The airline said the report expands on its previous TCFD reporting and affirms a commitment to broader sustainability initiatives.


Porter highlights new Ottawa aircraft hangers in report 

Some highlights of the report include

  • New Ottawa aircraft hangars, green infrastructure and reducing emissions

  • Focus on improving the passenger experience with no-middle-seat flights, free Wi-Fi on new E195-E2 aircraft and FSC/BPI-certified food containers

  • E195-E2 and Dash 8-400 fuel efficiency and reduced noise footprint

  • Supportive workplace culture, team member satisfaction and safety

  • Community commitments including Hope Air, Ukrainian refugee support, FlyPink for breast cancer awareness and more


Porter showcases its community commitments 

“Porter is committed to achieving federal greenhouse gas emissions targets, participating in industry efforts promoting carbon-neutral growth for international aviation, and enhancing use of sustainable aviation fuels,” the airline said via LinkedIn.
