Air France revamps lounge at Cayenne Airport
Air France has reopened its fully renovated lounge at Cayenne-Félix Eboué International Airport (CAY). Passengers can dine, work or relax in this comfortable redesigned space.
This lounge is dedicated to Air France's Business and Flying Blue Ultimate, Platinum and Gold passengers travelling to Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or on the airline's Regional Caribbean Network. It also welcomes eligible passengers from KLM and SkyTeam partner airlines.
The lounge has 41 seats over a surface area of more than 100 square meters. Nearly 70 percent of the seats have been renovated and reupholstered locally for a sustainable approach.
The Air France teams now welcome passengers in a calm and warm environment. Air France’s branding is reflected in the lounge through its signature colours, with shades of blue, luminous whites, touches of red and the presence of the winged seahorse, the airline's historic symbol.
In the heart of the lounge, a dining area showcases French cuisine. It features individual seats in red leather. The self-service menu changes throughout the day, offering hot and cold, savoury and sweet dishes, as well as vegetarian options. Meat and seafood salad, fish court-bouillon and turmeric chicken are just some of the dishes to dine on, focusing on local produce.
Air France pays particular attention to limiting food waste, selective sorting and recycling its catering services. Water fountains are also available to limit the consumption of single-use plastic.
The lounge has three areas with comfortable chairs, separated from each other for greater privacy and calm. Facing the window, a high table allows passengers to work in natural daylight. Flying Blue Ultimate travellers have their own reserved area.
The lounge provides a free Wi-Fi connection and numerous electric and USB sockets close to the seats. Digital press is available on the Air France Play app.
