JetBlue updates inflight snacks and drinks for summer

JetBlue's new inflight snack and beverage offerings for summer 2024
JetBlue has unveiled a lineup of new onboard features for passengers to enjoy this summer. Beginning this month, JetBlue is introducing new complimentary snacks, Mint and Core menu changes, additional entertainment options and more onboard personalization capabilities through Blueprint by JetBlue.
Snacks for all palates inflight
JetBlue’s complimentary snack selection is expanding with some sweet and savoury additions this summer. As of May 1, Partake's Classic Grahams are available as a sweet inflight snack. Partake’s Class Grahams are crafted with high-quality ingredients; they are certified gluten-free, vegan, non-GMO and top nine allergen-free, making it an inclusive snack option.
In June, travellers who prefer a savory flavour profile to something sweet will be able to try Safe+Fair®’s Everything Bagel Pretzels, which are lightly dusted in Safe + Fair’s signature top nine allergen-free onion and garlic spice blend. Current onboard snack partners such as Popchips® Sea Salt and Chifles® Plantain Chips will also remain inflight options for passengers.
JetBlue is New York’s Hometown Airline® and is celebrating the addition of a New York-based brand to its roster of liquor options across Mint and Core experiences. From Albany, NY, ALB® Vodka is a premium spirit that is 100 percent American corn-based, and gluten-free. It is crafted with Upstate water and quadruple charcoal filtration that compliments onboard cocktails.
JetBlue is also introducing new mixer options from Owen’s Craft Mixers to all flights available for purchase in Core cabins and complimentary in Mint.
New seatback menus will direct passengers on how to create their own “Runway ‘Rita” with Owen’s Sparkling Margarita Mix or a Mile-High Lemonade with Owen’s Classic Lemonade.
Flavours of summer on JetBlue
NYC-based restaurant Legacy Records will bring its dining experience to JetBlue’s Mint Class this summer. For breakfast, transatlantic passengers can enjoy strawberries drizzled in black pepper syrup and basil paired with quinoa pancakes with blueberry compote or a ricotta crepe with hazelnut and caramel.
Domestic travellers can order asparagus frittata with goat cheese, herbs and parmigiana paired with French toast with roasted strawberries and whipped mascarpone.
For lunch or dinner, transatlantic passengers will see new menu options like sausage pasty with Pomodoro sauce and Parmigiano, chilled pea soup with mint oil and puffed wild rice or chicken Milanese with mustard greens and lemon.
Domestic passengers will see new dinner items on the menu such as flat iron steak with roasted fennel and Tuscan breadcrumbs, burrata with roasted rhubarb, arugula and crostini, or shrimp with smoked paprika aioli and garlic breadcrumbs.
DIG is also bringing summer-inspired farm-to-tray table dishes to JetBlue’s transatlantic Core experience. For breakfast, passengers can dine on pancakes with maple syrup and roasted peaches, frittata with roasted zucchini and tomatoes or chocolate chia pudding with toasted coconut and raspberries.
For lunch and dinner, new selections include a char chicken and lemon herb spring farro or harissa aioli cauliflower and herb lentils. Sides such as sugar snap peas with mint pesto and feta and citrus fennel salad with sunflower seeds will also appear on the menu.
IFE updates with Blueprint by JetBlue
Blueprint by JetBlue has landed onboard and is set to driver a personalized inflight experience where passengers can customize their entertainment and more.
Onboard, passengers can watch movies with their friends and family through watch parties, allowing up to six travellers to watch the same film or TV show in sync. More features include the ability to “pick up where you left off function” and the option for passengers to save their favourite titles and settings to create a personal experience no matter what seat they choose from flight to flight.
From May 1, film buffs flying on JetBlue’s can access the “A24 Collection” featuring award-winning and nominated films from global entertainment studio, A24. Titles include Everything Everywhere All At Once and The Farewell, The Disaster Artist and Dream Scenario.
From June 1, JetBlue is set to become the first airline to launch a dedicated channel of the interview series “Hot Ones” to the sky. The show is hosted by Sean Evans and created by Chris Schonberger.
To celebrate JetBlue’s upcoming seasonal service to Edinburgh, the airline is also bringing forth a content collection named “Great Scots” to seatback entertainment screens featuring popular Scottish films, such as Skyfall, Brave, One Day (2011) and more.
