Brussels Airlines’ THE LOFT wins “Europe’s Leading Airline Lounge”

Brussels Airlines has announced that its lounge, THE LOFT, was awarded “Europe’s Leading Airline Lounge” at the World Travel Awards in Berlin. The award was voted on by travellers from around the world. This is the sixth consecutive win for THE LOFT, a collaboration between Brussels Airlines and Lexus.
THE LOFT by Brussels Airlines and Lexus is the airlines’ lounge in the Schengen zone of Brussels Airport (BRU). The space offers a variety of seating options to allow travellers to work, relax or dine before and between flights. There are also nap rooms and showers available.
The lounge is open to Business Class passengers and status holders in the Miles and More loyalty program, as well as Star Alliance Gold members. Passengers who travel with Brussels Airlines in Economy Class can enter the lounge for a fee during off-peak moments.
“Based on the feedback of our guests, we keep on smartly investing in our lounge to remain at the top. We recently renovated the shower suites, improved the set-up of the buffet, and introduced an ‘a la carte’ menu in the HON area, just to name a few examples. Brussels Airlines plans to introduce further improvements for THE LOFT, including a revamped coffee corner in collaboration with Rombouts coffee. It will also organize regular events with a focus on Belgitude, a key component of the airline’s passenger experience.
