British Airways updates Club Lounge at Heathrow Terminal 5B
British Airways completed the final phase of its lounge refresh at London Heathrow (LHR) Terminal 5B including a new servery area, deli station, updated furniture and a quiet zone. This lounge is reserved for premium passengers.
The lounge refresh comes as the exclusive Whispering Angel bar opened in the Terminal 5B lounge over the summer. The airline’s passengers travelling through the lounge can enjoy a chilled glass of the famous rosé before boarding.
The airline has also rolled out improvements in its First Class and Club lounges in Terminal 3. The Club lounge has a new bar and furniture while the First Class lounge offers passengers a chance to drink at the exclusive Concorde Bar and enjoy a dining area.
“We know that the airport experience is an important part of the journey for our customers, especially our premium customers, and we’re always listening to their feedback,” said British Airways’ Chief Customer Officer, Calum Laming. "We want to ensure we offer something for everyone using our lounges, whether that’s providing an area for those who wish to relax, catch up on work or somewhere for our customers to enjoy our British Original-inspired dishes. We hope these changes go a long way in making a difference to our customers’ experience before their flight.”
The airline has introduced new snack boxes onboard long-haul flights for passengers travelling in World Travellers (Economy) and World Traveller Plus (Premium Economy) classes. The box features a selection of sweet and savoury treats for passengers to enjoy.
British Airways recently announced improvements to its other lounges, with day arriving in the Concorde Room later this year. Over the coming months, British Airways will continue to refresh its lounges across the world, with Seattle and Edinburgh slated for updates soon.
