Akbar Al Baker receives APEX CEO Lifetime Achievement Award

The Airline Passenger Experience Association honoured Qatar Group CEO Akbar Al Baker with the prestigious CEO Lifetime Achievement Award at last night's APEX/IFSA Award ceremony in Long Beach, California. The award was presented by APEX CEO Dr. Joe Leader.
The award recognizes industry leaders who have dedicated their lives to the enhancement of the passenger experience and advancing the industry. This award is reserved only for individuals that drive transformative change for the industry. The CEO Lifetime Achievement Award is presented presented to a senior level executive from an APEX member company whose long-term efforts, dedication, and sustained commitment in support of elevating airline passenger experience and/or APEX have, in the opinion of the APEX Board of Directors, clearly established that individual’s career as a lifetime industry achievement.
