SAUDIA unveils futuristic fleet seats

SAUDIA has introduced a range of cutting-edge seat models for its upcoming fleet, along with retrofitting options for its current fleet at a recent three-day event showcasing seating models for both Business and Economy classes.
SAUDIA plans to install the proposed seats on its upcoming fleet of 787 Dreamliner aircraft, which will consist of 39 planes set to join the fleet in 2025. The airline is also actively engaged in developmental projects for its existing A330 and 777 fleet, integrating valuable guest feedback to retrofit the current seats. Furthermore, an upgraded inflight entertainment system named BEYOND will be introduced, providing interactive experiences tailored to various age groups and passenger preferences.
Among the exhibited models, a cutting-edge Business class suite stole the spotlight, boasting a fully flat 180-degree seat with automatic sliding doors and a generous 32-inch 4K resolution screen. Alongside, the showcased Economy class seats impressed with the latest comfort features and 13.3-inch seatback entertainment screens, a result of collaboration with renowned international aircraft seat design companies.
This initiative aligns with SAUDIA’s expansion plans to increase the number of destinations, connecting the Kingdom with the world.
