Emirates unveils revamped lounge in Munich
The reopened lounge now boasts cream leather seating with classic red and brown accent pillows
Emirates has reopened its newly designed lounge at Munich Airport following a comprehensive six-week refurbishment.
Emirates’ newly designed lounge at Munich Airport is now the largest of any foreign airline at the airport, covering a spacious area of 965 square meters. The lounge showcases a fresh appearance with cream leather seating, new carpets, captivating murals, and improved kitchen amenities. With nearly 200 seats, it is also the largest lounge in continental Europe for Emirates.
Passengers can unwind in the Emirates Lounge, open four hours before departure, and enjoy a soothing experience. The lounge offers a wide variety of hot and cold meals, including vegan options, catered by the renowned Do & Co. Additionally, guests can indulge in a complimentary full bar service and make use of private shower facilities.
The lounge was first opened in 2006 as Emirates’ initial exclusive lounge in Germany. To accommodate the growing number of passengers, it was expanded by almost 300 square meters in 2012. Presently, Emirates operates two daily non-stop flights connecting Munich and Dubai.
