Each week, Emirates’ partners facilitate over 50,000 connections for travellers to reach their desired destinations

Emirates has announced the success of its strategic partnerships with various airlines worldwide, which have significantly contributed to its growth and enhanced traveller connectivity.

“We have a long-standing history of partnerships that have reshaped the way people travel around the world,” said Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer in a July 12 press release. “It’s a reflection of our commitment to providing our customers greater flexibility and confidence when planning their travel itineraries through leveraging the strength of our partners’ complementary route networks. It’s also helped to enhance Dubai’s connectivity to the world, providing direct and indirect links to over 800 cities, generating more tourism to our hub and boosting business and trade opportunities.”

These partnerships have enabled travellers to access destinations that are not directly served by Emirates. With a network of 29 codeshare, 117 interline and 11 intermodal rail partners across more than 100 countries, Emirates offers more travel choices and connects passengers to over 5,250 additional sectors and 800 cities worldwide.

Passengers can enjoy a range of advantages through these partnerships, including the convenience of single-ticket itineraries, seamless baggage transfers, exclusive benefits for frequent flyers and access to luxurious airport lounges.

Emirates has been actively expanding its network of partnerships over the past year, having signed agreements with 11 airlines. These partnerships extend beyond passenger services and encompass Emirates’ loyalty program and cargo division, all working together to ensure a seamless and comprehensive travel experience for passengers.

Emirates’ travellers now have access to over 200 U.S. cities through the United network, as well as numerous destinations in Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America, with connections to 232 points spanning three continents.

The airline offers seamless connectivity to over 313 cities in Europe, including popular Mediterranean holiday destinations, through its five codeshare partners and 35 interline partners.

Emirates strengthens its Asian network through partnerships with nine codeshare partners, including Japan Airlines, Korean Air, and Garuda, expanding connectivity to over 150 cities.

The Emirates and Qantas partnership offers extensive travel options, allowing access to over 60 Australian destinations not served by Emirates.

Emirates has expanded its presence in Africa by partnering with multiple regional airlines, including South African Airways, Airlink, Royal Air Maroc, and Tunis Air.

In the Middle East, Emirates’ key partnership with flydubai has significantly enhanced connectivity by offering over 250 daily codeshare flights to more than 215 destinations in 98 countries, with over 2 million passengers flown on both carriers’ networks in the past two years.
