Emirates wins big at 2023 Business Traveller Awards

The red carpet award ceremony was attended by industry leading figures and professionals from across the Middle East
Emirates has once again been crowned the “Best Airline Worldwide” at the 2023 Business Traveller Middle East Awards. This marks the airline’s tenth consecutive win and was announced at a red carpet ceremony attended by prominent industry figures and professionals in the Middle East. Adil Al Ghaith and Dr. Nejib Ben Khedher, senior executives at Emirates, received the prestigious award on behalf of the airline.
Emirates also won several other awards, including “Best First Class,” “Best Premium Economy” and “Best Airport Lounge” in the Middle East, highlighting its exceptional service and industry-leading products.
Emirates’ now award-winning Premium Economy, which debuted less than two years ago, has become the industry benchmark for this cabin class. With spacious seats, luxury finishes, and meticulous touches, it has caught the attention of passengers worldwide. The airline’s latest project to refurbish 120 aircraft as part of its USD $2 billion retrofit program also reflects its commitment to delivering the best onboard experience.
Emirates’ latest A380 showcases the airline’s newest products and interiors in all classes, with 56 Premium Economy seats located on the main deck, and new colour palettes used in the carpeting and wall panels. On the upper deck, First and Business Class seats boast Emirates’ cream-coloured leather upholstery and lighter-toned wood finishing. The signature ghaf tree motif, including hand-stencilled panels in the First Class Shower Spa, is present throughout the cabin.
Recently, the airline has introduced an innovative culinary initiative. As part of their “dine on demand” service, passengers are treated to unlimited servings of caviar, paired with the exclusive Dom Perignon vintage champagne, available only on Emirates flights. As well, Emirates has reinvented classic theatre snacks for their First Class passengers, introducing their own unique twist on lobster rolls, juicy wagyu sliders, edamame, and traditional salted popcorn.
On the ground, the Emirates First Class Lounge experience in Concourses A, B and C provides further luxuries. Guests can enjoy complimentary express treatments at the Timeless Spa, extensive à la carte dining with skilled chefs preparing dishes on demand, curated single-origin coffees served by skilled baristas, and a Sommelier-led wine cellar with a unique opportunity to view, taste and purchase a range of exquisite wines. Children’s play and entertainment areas, a dedicated premium cigar lounge, an exclusive duty-free shopping zone, a Concierge for shopping assistance, complimentary shoeshine services, and more are also available.
Emirates operates a modern fleet of over 200 all wide-body aircraft consisting of A380s and 777s. The airline’s extensive network offers customers travel choices to over 140 destinations across six continents.
